OPEN DAYS HELD ON THE LAST SUNDAY OF EACH MONTH
Visit the hotel for our Open Day to get a look at the facilities we can offer for your special day, where our Wedding Co-ordinator will be available to show you round and answer any questions you might have. Viewings are available from 12noon until 4.00pm - no appointment necessary.
The Best Western Buchanan Arms Hotel & Spa is the perfect setting for your perfect day. Situated in the picturesque village of Drymen, only a minutes drive from the shores of Loch Lomond, and close to Glasgow and Stirling, the location is truly idyllic. The hotel dates back to the 18th century and retains all it's original character and charm whilst newly renovated function suites offer superb modern space, accommodating weddings for up to 150 daytime guests and 200 evening guests. 52 en-suite bedrooms are available, all recently refurbished, and our impressive leisure facilities include swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, gymnasium and our brand new, award winning Haven Spa.
Here at the hotel we are registered for religious and civil ceremonies and you can hold your marriage service with us if you choose, on the grounds of the hotel or in our conservatory, with exclusive use. For details of the legal requirements, go to www.edinburgh.gov.uk/marriage.
We know that budgeting for a wedding can be difficult so we have created an ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE - just the thing to make planning your wedding that little bit easier!
Package includes the following:
- Your personal Wedding Co-ordinator throughout
- Master of Ceremonies to guide you through your day
- Reduced facility fee of £100.00 to hold your ceremony on-site
- Kir, bucks fizz or mulled wine reception
- 3 course sit down meal with coffee for 70 adults
- 2 glasses of house wine per person with the meal
- A glass of sparkling wine per person for your toast
- Use of our cake stand and knife
- Personalised menus and place cards
- Table linen, chair covers and organza sashes
- Finger buffet in the evening
- Our resident DJ playing until midnight
- Private bar under midnight (late license until 1am available Fri/Sat at a fee of £100.00)
- Choice of Bridal Suite for Bride & Groom, with breakfast
