Activities and Things to do at Loch Lomond, Scotland

Whether it's enjoying a day driving along the windy shore road to go for the perfect lunch, or sailing on the water at sunset back to Luss, Loch Lomond's breathtaking landscape provide the perfect backdrop for romance. However to help plan your stay we have selected a few different activities that Loch Lomond has to offer (that's after you have been for that lovely lunch!)

Walking / Cycling / Running

The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park and Argyll Forest Park is fantastic for its all year round scenic parkland with many excellent woodland trails for walking, running and cycling. And the best bit about being outdoors is it's free for everyone. Log onto www.lochlomond-trossachs.org

Golfing

Golf originated in Scotland, and Loch Lomond offers some of the best courses in the World. Both the Loch Lomond Golf Club and The Carrick Golf Club are situated right beside the Loch, with Ben Lomond towering over you. Just remember not to hit your ball in the water! Fishing

Loch Lomond is the perfect place for fishing in peace and tranquility, with a fishing rod in one hand enjoying the views around you. With salmon and sea trout nibbling at your line, the Loch can provide a sumptuous dinner for any angler. All you have to do is make sure you can catch one!
